Letter: Awesome seventh-graders
I would like to lift up a positive about our youth of today. I teach seventh-graders at China Grove Middle School, and as a service project they collected money for Samaritan’s Purse to send goods to others in need.
When we began the project the first of December, I was hoping to raise enough to send a goat or two to people in other countries to help sustain their needs. These young people stepped up to the challenge and raised $700. That is enough for seven goats. Wow! There is good in the hearts of our youngsters. We just need to give them the chance to show us what they can do.
Way to go, China Grove Middle School seventh-graders.
