Choral Academy holds auditions for spring semester

CONCORD — The Choral Academy is now auditioning children and youth (ages 7-22) to participate in three age-based choirs.

If you have children who love to sing and would like to develop their musical talents in a disciplined choir program, call for an audition time. All youth in Cabarrus and the surrounding counties are welcome.

Each choir meets weekly through May at Calvary Lutheran Church to study and perform a broad range of choral literature selected with age and vocal capabilities in mind. Singers will have varied singing opportunities.

Choirs are directed by Gary Shive and accompanied by Lynnette Novobilski.

Rehearsals for spring semester begin on Jan 9, 2007.

For more information and to set up an audition, call 704-786-7447.
