Greyson Causby

A son, Greyson Barnes, was born to Becky and Jason Causby of Salisbury on Nov. 5, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces. He has a sister, Jaysa Rae Causby, 2. Grandparents are Steve and Jenny Jones of Salisbury, Candy Keith of Asheville and Skip Causby of Loveland, Ohio. Great-grandparents are Johnny and Earlene Jones of Fairmont, Ann Keith of Bryson City, Gene Snider of Salisbury, and Ray Causby of Huntersville. Monnie Causby of Mount Pleasant is great-great-grandparent.

Crew Ritchie

A son, Crew Porter, was born to Alan and Brittany O’Guin Ritchie of China Grove on Nov. 3, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Grandparents are Gary and Sylvia Ritchie of China Grove and Chris and Crystal O’Guin of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Homer and Hallie Fink of Kannapolis and Archie and Margaret Bass of Archdale.

William Brown

A son, William De’Shawn, was born to Tandria Gore and Gregory Brown Jr. of Salisbury on Dec. 1, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center. He weighed 3 pounds, 3.3 ounces. Grandparents are Alfreda Hall of Concord, Gregory Brown of Salisbury, and Mr. and Mrs. William Gore of Southport.

Mark Brown

A son, Mark James, was born to Carey and John Brown of Cleveland on Nov. 30, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 9 pounds. He has two sisters, Megan, 6, and Mary, 5. Grandparents are Jeretta and James Hey of Sanford and Nancy and James Brown of Cleveland.

Olivia Hansel

A daughter, Olivia Scott, was born to Tony and Nikki Blume Hansel of Washington, D.C., on Nov. 21, 2006, at Inova Hospital in Alexandria, Va. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Walter and Mireille Hansel of Silver Spring, Md., Scott and Kim Johnson of Salisbury and the late John Scott Blume. Great-grandparents are Betty and Sidney Blume of Salisbury and Catherine Ake Johnson of Ocean City, N.J. Addie Lyerly of Woodleaf is great-great-grandparent.

Tanner Chapman

A son, Tanner Bryan, was born to Amber Revis and Bryant Chapman of Rockwell on Nov. 30, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces. He has two brothers, Gabriel Revis, 6, Tyler Chapman, 9, and two sisters, Shauna Willyard, 2, and Brooklynn Chapman, 6. Grandparents are Angela Bumgarner of Oak Island, Jordan Motes of Brokenarrow, Okla., Harley Johnson of Landis and the late Hazel Chapman. Great-grandparents are Wendall and Linda Pease. Stella Skenteris

A daughter, Stella Kathryn, was born to Jimmy and Ashley Skenteris of Fayetteville on Oct. 21, 2006, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. She has a brother, Michael Peter, 3. Grandparents are Julius “Butch” Cauble and Dixie Cauble, both of Salisbury, and Pete and Frederika Skenteris of Fayetteville. Great-grandparents are Robert L. Rusher of Salisbury and Katharine Canavos of Fayetteville.

Alex Eagle

A son, Alex Peyton Eagle, was born to Melissa Null Eagle and Maurice Edison Eagle III of Gold Hill on Nov. 20, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces. He has two sisters, Elizabeth Grace, 4, and Anna Faith, 2. Grandparents are Martha Haynes, Maurice Edison Eagle Jr. and Diane Eagle, all of Gold Hill. Betty Hodges of Blueridge, Ga., is great-grandparent.

Karysa Horne

A daughter, Karysa Emalee, was born to Jack Jr. and Amanda Horne of Salisbury on July 28, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces. Grandparents are Jack and Teresa Horne and Ronnie McClamrock, all of Kannapolis, and Kathy McClamrock of Mount Ulla. Great-grandparents are L.A. and Louise Johnson of Salisbury, Claudine McClamrock of Kannapolis and Claude and Frances Black of China Grove.

Ethan Morgan

A son, Ethan Micheal, was born to Mike and Jody Morgan of Salisbury on Nov. 24, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. He has a brother, Chandler Scott, 4, and a sister, Keelee Nicole, 7. Grandparents are Jimmy and Kathleen Agner of Salisbury, Lloyd Morgan of Rockwell, and the late Nancy Morgan.
