Mrs. Bruce Donnell Jones of Atlanta, Ga., is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Miss Amanda Eastwood Jones, to Mr. Mark Butterly Staats, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allen Staats of Salisbury.
Also the daughter of the late Bruce Donnell Jones, Amanda graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from The American University in Washington, D.C. Amanda is a tennis professional and owner and instructor of Kidz Court Tennis in Atlanta.
Mark is a graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of North Carolina Wilmington. He is a tennis professional for Universal Tennis Academy at Bitsy Grant Tennis Center in Buckhead, Ga.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 4 in Atlanta.
