July 4 festivities with Intimidators

KANNAPOLIS – CMC-NorthEast Stadium, home of the Kannapolis Intimidators, is the place to be this July 4 for an All-American Community Celebration beginning at 6 p.m. with an Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at 704-932-3267 or visiting IntimidatorsBaseball.com or purchased the night of the event.
The All-American Community Celebration, presented by the city of Kannapolis, will feature a stadium full of carnival-like entertainment, an apple pie baking contest, and a special little league game to be played on the field under the lights.
An expanded Kid’s Zone will feature inflatables, a carousel and the Pit Stop Playground. Children are encouraged to wear red, white and blue to participate in a special patriotic parade around the field. The evening will end with a special Independence Day fireworks show set to patriotic music. Admission for children 12 and under is $4, as well as seniors 55 and older. This event is expected to be heavily attended, so fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance.
