How’s this for a big change — this week’s highs will be up to 80 degrees and the rain will hold off until Friday.

Today started cold, in the lower 30s, but will warm up and become sunny, with a high near 73, and we’re done with those high winds. Tonight’s low should be around 43.

Tuesday looks pretty similar, with a high near 77 and a low of 47. We’ll hit 80 on Wednesday, with a low of only 52.

Thursday, partly sunny and near 76 degrees. The chance of showers moves in Thursday night, but it’s only 30 percent. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 75 and a 40 percent chance of showers. That chance continues Friday night, with a low of 54.

Saturday brings a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, but otherwise, it will be partly sunny with a high of 73. Saturday night’s low should be 47, and Sunday will be partly sunny a little cooler, with a high of 84.
