Thanks Salisbury

Once again Salisbury delivered an excellent tournament. I’m so grateful for all of your contributions of food and help. We may be a small group but we’re amazing. Thank you all. Many of our NLM players did very well; in fact they exceeded our higher point holders. Congratulations go to Betty Bills who won the Lemon Tray awarded to the NLM who earned the highest number of points. Bill Wisdom once again earned the Wallace Trophy for winning the most points overall for Salisbury players.

On Tuesday, Feb. 25 our Women’s Club winners were: First, Shirley and Ron Jeffers; second, Gloria Bryant and Wayne Pegram; third, Dave Goff and Dick Brisbin.

The featured board is #20 from Tuesday’s game. It was a nightmare and one not likely to show up in a game with the dreaded “computer” hand. Have a chuckle and be glad you’re not having to play this hand — ever. No one made their bid. All vulnerable, West dealer
