Piedmont Players Theatre will hold its Youth Theatre Winter Workshop on March 15.
The workshop will focus on preparing students in elementary through high school to audition for a non-musical production and will be specifically geared toward Piedmont Players’ upcoming production of “Nancy Drew: Girl Detective.”
Skills developed will be in stage performance, character development, movement and effective auditioning techniques. Edward Whitney is the instructor.
Workshops will be held 10 a.m.-noon and 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. in the rehearsal hall at the Norvell Theater, 135 E. Fisher St. There are 20 spots available for each time slot, and the cost is $25. Call 704-633-5471 to sign up.
