For all of you seeking points there are two sectional tournaments of note: Southern Pines is hosting a NLM sectional Sept. 27-29 and Morganton is hosting a sectional Oct. 4-6. For details, visit mabcbridge.org

The Winecoffs’ class Friday, Sept. 27 will be a review of Standard American bidding basics and beginning in October, 4 NT bids and responses will be covered.

Carol wants to know if anyone would be interested in having a short lesson, about 20 minutes long, prior to the Tuesday Women’s Club games. Let me know of any interest and I will let them know.
