William Paul Mancil
William (Will) Paul Mancil of Salisbury graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte on May 11, 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.
While at UNCC, Will was named to the ChancellorÕs and DeanÕs lists and was a member of the Athletic Training Student Organization, National Athletic Training Association, Timbersports Club (vice president) and participated in intramural sports.
During college Will worked part-time on campus at the Student Activity Center and later at GNC Nutrition Centers. Will’s clinical rotations included Davidson College, the Cannon School in Concord, Jay M. Robinson High School in Concord and Greg Ott Physical Therapy in Charlotte.
Will has been accepted into Elon University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, beginning in January. A Certified Athletic Trainer, Will is currently employed by Greg Ott Center for Physical Therapy and Sports Performance in Charlotte.
A 2009 graduate of East Rowan High school, Will is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Gary Mancil of Salisbury and the brother of Emily Mancil and Ethan Mancil. He is the grandson of Mrs. Hazel Mancil, the late Mr. Willis Mancil of Waycross, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Torcivia of Phillipsburg, N.J.
