Catawba holding training exercise involving active-shooter scenario

Catawba College is holding a training exercise involving an active-shooter scenario on campus this afternoon.

Local law enforcement officers, firefighters and emergency workers are taking part.


The exercise is confined to the Hedrick Administration Building and will disrupt normal business operations, but the public should otherwise be unaffected, other than possibly hearing gunfire or explosions.
