SALISBURY — The Rowan-Salisbury School System will make up its Jan. 17 snow day on Monday, Feb. 18.

This will be a full instructional day, spokeswoman Rita Foil said Tuesday. She said it was the next available date on the calendar that could be used as a make-up day.

Rowan-Salisbury schools, along with several others across the county, cancelled class on Jan. 17 due to some snowfall the night before. Snow accumulations didn’t reach the predicted 2 to 5 inches, but some roads were hazardous for drivers in the morning.
