EAST SPENCER — Fire crews were called out to a house fire at 205 Robin Circle around 11 p.m. Wednesday night, and the first crews on the scene found flames shooting through the roof.
Firefighters soon went into defensive mode while working on the blaze near East Broad Street. There were no signs of anyone inside the structure, and crews said overgrown brush surrounding it made fighting the fire tough. After at least one wall had collapsed, the fire was declared under control at 11:45 p.m.
