Authorities: Family Dollar robbed

SALISBURY Two men robbed a Family Dollar store on Jake Alexander Boulevard Thursday evening.

The robbery happened about 7:30 p.m. Authorities said one suspect was holding a small handgun.


The two men were described as black males one, wearing a blue bandana and grey hoodie sweatshirt, and a second, wearing a grey sweater.

One officer said they two may have been last seen heading toward a nearby apartment complex just off Jake Alexander Boulevard in the 500 block.
