Business reports break-in, theft of 16 tires

RWBT Inc. on West Ritchie Road, Salisbury, reported Saturday the theft of 16 truck tires in a burglary.

The tires were valued at $4,000. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reported there was forcible entry into the building, and a broken lock was listed among the damages.


Also stolen was a $100 video camera.

The theft occurred between 3-9 a.m. Saturday.

Elsewhere, American Homes in the 7800 block of U.S. 52 reported Saturday the theft of a refrigerator, stove, microwave and door.

The larceny was reported at 12:09 p.m. Saturday. Value of the stolen property was $1,580.
