Woodleaf bridge
worth the wait

I am a Woodleaf resident. Even though it was a hardship for all, over the years we have had to put up with repairs on the bridge. We all knew it had to be done.

Now, with a new bridge complete, I would like to congratulate the crew that did the bridge and the road work ajoining the bridge. They did an excellent job.

Would you mind going to Second Bridge on U.S. Highway 70 and doing the same?

Feeling the love?

The person the Democrats put in Washington to lead America four more years is no more a leader than an arrogant school kid. America is close to falling back into recession, but all he can do is keep campaigning and calling for more taxes. As if taxing 2 percent of the people another 4-5 percent is going to help anything but his ego. He feeds on the cameras, the cheers and the praise he gets on the campaign trail.

Look at his friends and supporters — Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, Frank Marshall Davis etc. — who’ve been accused of having communist sympathies. It’s disgraceful that the president of the United States would take his whole family to see vulgar trash like this Korean rapper named Psy who has sung about killing Americans.

It’s nothing new. Remember three years ago when Obama applauded and defended the Chinese pianist Lang Lang for playing “My Motherland” at a White House dinner? This anti-American song was about killing American soldiers in the Korean War.

He sides with the Muslim Brotherhood over Israel. Do American women know about the Muslim Brotherhood and Sharia law, like when they chop off your hands? In Timbuktu recently, six teenagers got 100 lashes each for talking in the street. In Iran, they reportedly stoned 90 children to death for having “emo” haircuts.

Obama has created 4 million jobs, but they’re all temporary. When the stimulus money runs out, the jobs run out. The auto-battery (and military-battery) company A123 Systems is the latest to go bankrupt, even though they had gotten a quarter-billion in stimulus funds. Now a Chinese company is taking them over.

Will people still love Obama after all the free money runs out? May God continue to bless America in spite of our immorality.
