A richly inventive novel about a centuries-old vampire, a spellbound witch, and the mysterious manuscript that draws them together. Jan. 25 at noon.
Young at Heart Book Group: Are you addicted to teen fiction? Join us for a discussion of a different teen book each month. Adults and teens welcome. January’s book is “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green. Sixteen-year-old Hazel meets 17-year-old Augustus at a support group for teens with cancer. Hazel is tethered to an oxygen tank and is a slave to the drugs that pulled her back from death two years ago. Augustus lost his leg but is in remission. Together, they will figure out sickness, health, life, death and the legacy that one leaves behind. Jan. 29 at 5:30 p.m.
