Want to help make Riot in the Pasture a smashing success? Bread Riot food advocacy group needs volunteers for their showcase of what local farms have to offer, set for May 17, 3-7 p.m., at Morgan Ridge Vineyard and Brewhouse.

Mary Corinne DeGood is the volunteer coordinator, moving to Salisbury from Colorado. She has 10 years experience in hosting events and volunteer days for nonprofits.

Bread Riot will provide a shirt for volunteers to wear at the event and keep. DeGood and a board member will explain duties and there will be other people to help. Volunteer sessions should be under two hours so people can still enjoy the event.

Volunteers who serve food will have a meal boxed up so they don’t miss out on the food.
