Mount Hope Church Road rail crossing closing Feb. 23

On Monday, Feb. 23, contractors will permanently close the railroad grade crossing in the 100 block of Mount Hope Church Road. The closure is part of the overall Norfolk-Southern Railway track expansion project that is under way to add a second rail line between Salisbury and Kannapolis.
