Help North Middle reach its goal

North Rowan Middle School is in the midst of our first ever “Invest In Your Child” campaign. This is a fundraiser that depends on donations from parents, family, friends, businesses and community members that go directly to our PTA to sponsor activities and fulfill needs at our school throughout the year.

One hundred percent of all donations will go towards these projects, and donations are also tax deductible.

This year, we are trying to raise matching funds to be able to purchase a new school marquee in order to keep our families and community more updated on activities at our school.

We would appreciate donations of any amount to help us meet our goal of $3,000, and they may be sent to NRMS PTA, 512 Charles St., Spencer, NC 28159. Thank you for your support of our school and our students!

Fine writing

Mark Wineka’s latest story on, “The Last Blacksmith,” is yet another example of why the Salisbury Post and the citizens of Rowan County are blessed to have such a fine writer in residence here. This community is made better every day because of your talents.
