Teen killed, 2-year-old wounded in NC shooting

WINSTON-SALEM (AP) — Winston-Salem police say a teen has been killed and a 2-year-old girl wounded in a shooting.
Police were called to a home around 2:15 p.m. Monday about a reported fight and shots being fired. They found 17-year-old Jashun Ladonte Ingram in the yard beside the home. Police say Ingram had been shot several times and died at the scene.
A 2-year-old girl was found in a vehicle in front of the house. She had been shot in the leg. She was taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police have charged 19-year-old Kashif Antoine Lang of Winston-Salem with one count of voluntary manslaughter and one count of firing a gun into an occupied vehicle.
