A freeze warning is in effect until 10 a.m. today, with temperatures remaining in the 20s and low 30s at least until noon. And we are already under a freeze watch for Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Today will be cold and damp, with a 60 percent chance of rain, staring around noon, then showers after 5 p.m. East northeast wind will increase to 5-10 mph this morning.
Showers are likely before 3 a.m., then rain. Also look for patchy fog tonight. The low will be 34, with northeast winds at 7-9 mph. Don’t be surprised to see some snow mixed in with the rain. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
Tuesday starts off with a 30 percent chance of rain, then becomes sunny. The high will be 52, but west northwest winds will blow at 5-15 mph, with gusts up to 23 mph. Tuesday night will be clear and frigid, with a low of 22 — some forecasts say the low will drop to 19. Northwest wind will continue at 10-13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
Wednesday will be sunny but cold, with a high of 40 and more northwest wind at 10-16 mph, gusting up to 24 mph. The low Wednesday will be 20 degrees, for yet another night of hard freezes.
Thursday will be sunny and 47, with a low back in the 20s, around 23 degrees.
Mother Nature is making us pay for the spring we had in February.
Friday will be sunny and warmer, with a high of 56, and the low will be a slightly warmer 36.
Saturday will be partly sunny and 60, with a low of 36.
Sunday should be mostly sunny and 61.
