Rowan weather: There’s a chill in the air

We’re in for another chilly day, but Thursday will be sunny and warmer before clouds move in Friday.

Today will be sunny, too, but with a high of just 40 degrees. Winds will blow at 5-7 mph from the west southwest. Tonight’s low will be a very cold 25, with more wind.

Thursday will be sunny and 54, still with southwest wind at 3-5 mph.

Friday brings an increasing chance of rain. There’s a chance of rain between 8 a.m. and noon, then showers are likely — 70 percent — after noon. It will be cloudy with a high of 48.

Showers are also likely Friday night, with a low around 38 and a 60 percent chance of rain.

The sun returns Saturday, with a high of 52 and some lingering clouds. The low will be 32.

Partly sunny for Sunday, with a cooler high of 44 and a low of 25.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be mostly sunny, but cold, with a high of 39. The low will be cold, too, about 23 degrees.

Tuesday will be much the same, mostly sunny, high of 39.
