Q: How do I get there?
Q: What is the admission cost?
A: Pops at the Post is a free event.
Q: When is the concert?
A: Pops at the Post is traditionally on the first saturday in June.
The pre-entertainment begins at 5:00pm, the Pops concert begins approximately 7:30-7:45pm.
Q: How long is the concert?
A: Pops at the Post is typically a two-hour concert, with a 15-minute intermission.
There are two planned encores, but families with young children may feel free to leave at any time.
Please enjoy yourself during the concert, but please respect those guests who may be more focused on the music.
Q: How can I follow what’s going on?
A: You can get a handheld fan with the program printed on the back at the Salisbury Symphony’s tent.
Q: Are there restrooms available?
A: Yes. Port-a-johns, both regular and handicapped, are available.
Q: Where do I park?
A: The surrounding streets and parking lots in Downtown Salisbury.
Q: Is there handicapped parking available?
A: Yes. There is limited handicapped parking available.
Q: Is there reserved seating available?
A: Yes. There are 400 reserved seats available each year. These are for Salisbury Symphony Orchestra season ticket holders, event sponsors and handicapped concert-goers.
Q: What if it rains?
A: The concert will be moved to Catawba College.
Q: Is there food available?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I tailgate?
A: Yes. Spots can be reserved up to the day before the event via Eventbrite. Any spots left unreserved will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q: Is alcohol allowed?
A: No alcohol is allowed at the Pops at the Post event.
Q: What if someone has an emergency of some kind?
A:Personnel from the Spencer Fire Department & EMS will be on standby at the event.

A: Be sure to visit our sponsors.
Q: Is there free Cheerwine again this year?
Yes! Look for the Cheerwine trailer!
Q: May I bring my dog on a leash?
A: Sorry. No pets are allowed
Q: May I bring something to cook on if I am tailgating?
A: Sorry. No open flames are allowed for safety reasons.
Q: Where can I donate during the concert?
A: Thank you for supporting our event! There will be a “pass the hat” during intermission, or you may donate at the Salisbury Symphony tent.
