SALISBURY — BrightView, a comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment provider, is inviting the Salisbury community to a special open house and ribbon cutting on May 14, from 2 – 4 p.m. Guests will be welcomed with tours of the facility, light refreshments and the chance to meet the dedicated team providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

Located at 1930 Jake Alexander Blvd W, Suite 1000, BrightView’s Salisbury center is one of its newest locations in North Carolina, joining others in Asheboro and Reidsville, with a fourth set to open soon in Greensboro. While BrightView is new to Rowan County, the organization brings years of experience treating addiction with dignity and respect — helping thousands of individuals reclaim their lives across five states.

BrightView provides same-day, walk-in access to medication for addiction treatment (MAT), along with individual counseling, group therapy and case management. The program is designed to eliminate barriers and help patients start treatment quickly — often within hours of reaching out. Medicaid, Medicare and most commercial insurance plans are accepted.

From 2000 to 2022, North Carolina lost more than 36,000 lives to drug overdoses, according to NCDHHS. In 2021 alone, over 4,000 people died, marking the state’s deadliest year yet.

“We want the community to get to know us and how we’re saving lives,” said Amy Young, outreach coordinator for BrightView in Salisbury. “Addiction has taken far too many people from our community, but recovery is possible. That’s what this event is about — showing our neighbors that there is real help, real hope and a team of people who truly care. We can’t end this crisis alone. We have to do it together.”

A BrightView patient put it best:

“They didn’t just treat my addiction — they treated me like a human being. Today, I’m two years sober. I have a job. I have my family back.”
