GRANITE QUARRY — East Rowan pitcher Camryn Perkins surpassed 100 strikeouts for the season as the Mustangs pummeled Robinson 15-0 on Friday.

Kori Miller hit a two-run homer for the Mustangs (19-2, 15-1), who have won two straight South Piedmont Conference championships.

Kimberly Troublefield had three hits. Lily Kluttz and Madi Tigert had two hits.

LANDIS — South Rowan pounded eight extra-base hits, but still had a close game with Lake Norman Charter on Friday.

The Raiders won 6-4.

South (13-6, 10-6) trailed 3-1 before scoring four runs in the bottom of the third to take the lead for good.

Senior Kynlee Dextraze had a triple and two doubles. Senior Lexie Ritchie had two doubles. Leisha Carter homered. Eva Shue had a triple, and Nora Wheeler had a double.

Abby Courtney and Ilyana Smith had three hits each for the Knights.

Remi Hagerty pitched for South. She struck out six and walked one.

South will be seeded third for the SPC tourney.

CONCORD — Carson lost 5-1 at Northwest Cabarrus in a South Piedmont Conference game on Friday to finish the regular season.

Leah Troutman, Abigail Harrelson and Emma Woodlief had hits for Carson (5-14, 4-12). Caylee Snow struck out five batters.

Tatum Krolak homered and drove in four for the Trojans (9-9, 8-8).

Northwest pitcher Haylee Ellis struck out 12 and walked one.
