Wednesday games …
SPENCER — North Rowan made an exciting rally in the bottom of the seventh for a 7-6 Central Carolina Conference win against rival Salisbury.
Chase Cauble pitched a complete game for the Cavaliers, who won on Senior Night. Cauble threw 92 pitches. He struck out six and walked three.
Zane Smith and Dylan Garrigus had two hits for North. Smith had three steals.
Salisbury (6-16, 4-7) got a homer from Evan Koontz and three hits from Hank Webb and took a 6-3 lead to the bottom of the seventh, but the Hornets made two errors to start the inning, and the Cavaliers (5-11, 4-7) took advantage.
With the bases loaded, senior Anders Thompson hit a two-run double down the left-field line for a 6-all tie. Caleb Everett advanced to third on the double and scored on a passed ball for the walk-off win.

MOUNT ULLA — West Rowan won 5-1 against South Iredell on Senior Night.
The Falcons (20-4) scored twice in the bottom of the first and led all the way in the non-conference game.
Eli Graham (3-0) had a shutout until the sixth inning, striking out six, walking two and and allowing six hits. Cole Blevins got the last four outs and earned a save.
Brice Knox had a big Senior Night with a 3-for-3 effort and scored two runs. Blevins scored twice, while Carter Durant had two more RBIs. Ben Koontz had a double.

LANDIS — South Rowan staged a dramatic rally in the bottom of the seventh and edged A.L. Brown 7-6 in a non-conference game.
South (12-10) trailed 6-2 going to the bottom of the sixth, but scored three in the sixth and two in the seventh to pull it out.
Marshal Faw had the RBI that tied the game, and Brycen Burris had the game-winning hit.
Conner Coy and Faw had three hits for the Raiders. Matthew Overcash was 2-for-2 and Brandon Winkler had two RBIs.
Faw pitched the top of the seventh and was the winning pitcher. Rhyne Keller and Corbin Goodman combined for eight strikeouts and got the Raiders through the first six.
Mason Teal had two doubles for the Wonders (7-17), and Maddox Langley, Drew Ryan and Jesse Morgan.

MOUNT PLEASANT — Carson won 7-5 at Mount Pleasant on Wednesday in non-conference action.
Carson (13-8) has won nine out of its last 10 games and continues to move up in the 3A West RPI rankings.
Carson Kirk’s brilliant three innings of relief made the difference. He shut down the Tigers for a save and struck out six.
Dylan Alexander started on the mound, and Jacob Prevette (2-0) relieved in the third and was credited with the win.
Jayven Parks had two doubles and scored three runs. Cameron Williamson knocked in thre.
Corbin Hales and Jayden Goff had two hits each.
