Drinks, insults end in shots fired
According to Salisbury police, two neighbors were enjoying drinks on one’s front porch Sunday evening. After quite a few drinks, one of the neighbors began shouting racial insults at others passing and his neighbor walked him home. Reports say as the second neighbor turned to depart after leaving the first on his own porch, the first neighbor pulled out a pistol and fired at the second neighbor. The victim was not hit, but police did arrest the first neighbor and charged him with misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon. Because the charge was a misdemeanor, the Post is not listing the name of the gunman.
