CHINA GROVE — South Rowan’s softball team pounded Carson 14-0 on Tuesday as Remi Hagerty pitched a five-inning no-hitter.

Hagerty struck out eight and didn’t walk a batter.

South scored multiple runs in each of the first four innings.

Cressley Patterson and Kynlee Dextraze homered and supplied most of the offense for the Raiders (11-6, 8-6).

Patterson was 2-for-2 with four runs and three RBIs. Dextraze was 3-for-3 with four RBIs.

Lexie Ritchie had two hits and scored four runs. Danica Krieg scored two runs.

Caylee Snow and Leah Troutman pitched for the Cougars (4-13, 3-11). Snow struck out four.
