CHINA GROVE — South Piedmont Conference golf teams played back-to-back this week, following up Monday’s outing at Irish Creek with windy Tuesday action at Warrior.

Led by medalist Brady MacFee’s 34, Lake Norman Charter won again, shooting 157.

East Rowan was second at 160. Brady McIntyre shot 36. Brody Benfield shot 37. Jason Bonds shot 43, while Mason Mainville and Griffin Robbins carded 44s.

Northwest Cabarrus shot 165 for third, with 35s from Talan Harrison and Logan Swanger.

South Rowan got 44s from Dane Wheeler, Cooper Welch and Carson Hurst and shot 178 for fourth place.

Jacob Rockwell’s 40 led Carson (181) to fifth place.

Central Cabarrus (194) was sixth.

West Rowan was seventh with 196. Samuel Faulkner’s 47 was the best score for the Falcons.

Robinson (206) and Concord (207) rounded out the nine-team field.
