CONCORD — Carson beat Robinson 10-3 in a South Piedmont Conference game.
Carson (10-8, 8-5) led only 2-0 after five innings, but the Cougars scored four in the sixth and four more in the seventh.

West (17-3) took control with a three-run first and went on to blow out the Wildcats, who are competing for the championship in the 4A Greater Metro Conference.
The Falcons only had five hits, but they drew 14 walks.
Eli Graham (2-0) pitched four smooth innings with no walks, and Chase Fisher finished up.
Carter Durant drove in five runs, while Brant Graham drove in three.

SALISBURY — It’s been a tough season for Salisbury, and a 6-5 Central Carolina Conference loss to Thomasville was probably the toughest loss so far.
Salisbury took a 5-2 lead to the sixth. The Bulldogs (9-9, 6-2) cut the lead to 5-4 in the sixth and scored two in the seventh to win. The tying run scored on a balk.
The Hornets (5-14, 4-6) were one out away from winning when Hank Webb reached the 105 pitch limit with two outs in the top of the seventh.
Webb, Landon Tucker, Jackson Sparger and Evan Koontz had two hits for the Hornets.
