Letter: God Help America

In an interview on Sunday morning TV, I saw and heard Senator James Lankford (R) of Oklahoma say, “doing something is better than doing nothing.” That may be true, but he did not finish the statement. He should have continued and said, “no matter how stupid, incoherent or destructive something may be.” This is understandable considering his party of choice. Congrats to Trump on his win on his four-day golf outing. I’m sure his playing partners did their to best to beat and embarrass him. Much more important than meeting the families of the four returned U.S. servicemen in their coffins. God help America!
