Letter: Imperialism

President Trump publicly states he wants to take back the Panama Canal by force if necessary, annex Canada as 51st state, take possession of Greenland by whatever means, own Gaza and control mineral rights in Ukraine. How do Trump’s imperialist ambitions differ from China’s claim to Taiwan or Putin’s invasion of Ukraine in his desire to re-establish the Russian Empire?  What say you?
