BOYS GOLF

CHINA GROVE — South Rowan shot a season-best 160 at Warrior and won against West Wilkes on Tuesday.

Cooper Welch and Carson Hurst shot 38s. Dane Wheeler shot 41, Jadon Moore shot 43.

 

GIRLS SOCCER

Northwest Cabarrus scored six goals in the first half and beat Carson 9-3 in a South Piedmont Conference matchup.

Robinson beat East Rowan 8-0 in the SPC.

Hailee Ashby scored for South Rowan in an 8-1 SPC loss to Lake Norman Charter. Margo Maples had 17 saves.

North Rowan lost to South Davidson 3-0 in a Central Carolina Conference matchup.
