“The last two years there we pulled out a 3-2 win and barely held on to a 1-1 draw,” Salisbury coach Matt Parrish said. “The girls haven’t found their confidence yet, especially after losing to West Davidson. That being said, we came out very assertively and pressed the action immediately. I was very happy to see some of the things we’ve been working on in practice come to fruition in the match. Every player got at least 20 minutes and ladies that play big minutes worked incredibly hard to include and encourage the players that don’t see the field as much or are used primarily as defenders. It was good to see that confidence, to see them have fun and see them grow as a team.”

Salisbury plays three CCC games next week.
