It was recently stated on these pages, March 11, that it costs $10 million for Trump’s visits to Mar-a-Lago. Seems too high to me, but who knows? Depending on what constitutes as a vacation day, it has often been said that Biden took anywhere between 189-400 days out of Washington, D.C., in his four years. The White House admits he was gone at least 60 weekends. How much did that cost taxpayers? Air Force 1 flights, Secret Service protection, hauling his car around, isn’t cheap!

Keep in mind that during Trump’s first four years as president, he took no salary. I do not recall anyone complaining about that.
