The North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association has announced all-district teams.
There are first, second and third all-district teams for each of 12 districts. Nominations and voting are done only by schools that are NCBCA members. The Rowan schools are part of District 11, which also includes Ashe, Alexander, Alleghany, Caldwell, Davie, Iredell, Stokes, Surry, Watauga, Wilkes and Yadkin counties.
Salisbury senior Myles Smith added All-District first team honors to his recognition as Rowan County Player of the Year and Central Carolina Conference Player of the Year.
Carson sophomore Caden “CP” Perry made the District 11 second team. He also was All-South Piedmont Conference.
North Rowan senior Emari Russell and Salisbury junior Braylon Taylor made the District 11 third team. Both were All-Central Carolina Conference.

Robinson’s Camri Hobbs was a first team pick for the District 8 girls, which includes the Cabarrus and Mecklenburg players. Lake Norman Charter’s Reece Long made the third team.

Albemarle’s Amari Baldwin was girls player of the year for District 8.
