The Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) currently underway in Rowan County is also in process in Cabarrus County. Kannapolis residents in Cabarrus County will have a change to participate in health-related surveys from now until April 17.
“Healthy Cabarrus, a program of Cabarrus Health Alliance, is leading the collaborative effort to better understand and address the health needs of the county,” a release about the survey said.
Every four years, organizations, community leaders and residents come together for the CHNA to identify key health issues, determine priorities and drive impactful change. The CHNA results guide funding decisions, community programs and policy changes. Past assessments have influenced efforts in areas such as mental health services, substance use prevention, access to care and food security. By participating, you can help ensure that resources are allocated to the issues that matter most to our community.
Cabarrus Health Alliance is inviting residents to participate in a short 10-minute survey to share their thoughts on the most pressing health concerns in the community. The input will help guide the following:
- Identify health challenges affecting our community
- Understand emerging needs and priorities
- Develop solutions that make a real impact
Please note that all responses are confidential, and every opinion matters. The survey is available in English and Spanish online. To participate in the survey, you must be 18 years or older. The survey is open until April 17, 2025. If you need a paper copy of the survey, call 704-920-1216 for assistance. The link to the survey is available on the web version of this article.
