SALISBURY —Have you ever wanted to be a detective and solve a mystery? Now’s your chance to give it a try.

The Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, 1120 S Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Salisbury will be hosting a Saint Patrick’s Murder Mystery Dinner on March 13 from 5-7:30 p.m. During the evening, attendees can enjoy a meal and try their hand at being an investigator and work with the Charlotte Murder Mystery Company to determine who is the guilty party.

Bonnie Jones, marketing and media coordinator at the center, said those participating can “enjoy a murder mystery while enjoying an Irish-themed meal.”

The menu will include Shepherd’s Pie (beef), Bangers & Mash, white cheddar macaroni and cheese, veggies and for dessert, some spiced apple cake and Irish coffee, decaf also available.

Tickets are still available, and cost is $20 per person. Call the center at 704-216-7714 to register for the event.

“These events are so much fun and give your brain the exercise it needs to stay sharp all while dining and hanging out with friends,” said Jones.
