SALISBURY — The Rowan Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Salute to Agri-business” at the Power In Partnership (PIP) breakfast on Thursday, March 20, at 7:30 a.m. The event will take place at the Rowan Community Center, located at 1935 Jake Alexander Boulevard West in Salisbury. This month’s PIP sponsor is the town of Cleveland.
The keynote speaker for the event is Jolene Brown, an award-winning national speaker, author and dedicated farmer. She will deliver a presentation on “Cultivating a Lasting Legacy,” offering wisdom for farm and family-owned businesses striving to secure their future. In addition to the PIP breakfast, Brown will also be a featured speaker at an agri-business conference, which will continue throughout the day on March 20 and into Friday, March 21.
This PIP breakfast is dedicated to honoring Rowan County’s farmers and those who support the local agricultural industry. Attendees will enjoy a breakfast featuring locally sourced products as they connect with community leaders and industry experts.
The Power in Partnership breakfast series offers attendees a unique opportunity to enjoy breakfast while engaging in valuable networking, learning from industry leaders and discussing the latest trends and challenges facing the community. The chamber’s breakfast programs average over 120 attendees each month.
If you would like to join the chamber for the March PIP, reservations are required for those without a Power Card. The reservation deadline is Tuesday, March 18, by 5 p.m. The cost is $25 for members and $50 for non-members, which includes breakfast and the program.
