SALISBURY — After a crazy off-season in which Owen White (Carson) was a Ranger, a Red, a Yankee and, finally, a member of the Chicago White Sox, White knows now he’ll start the 2025 season with the Charlotte Knights, Chicago’s Triple-A team.

White pitched a scoreless inning for the White Sox on Monday — no hits, one walk — in a 10-3 win against the A’s and got the news on Tuesday that he’ll open the season in Charlotte.

White has been mostly a starter in the minors, but he’s been used in relief in his brief MLB appearances.

It’s likely White will get a chance to pitch as a starter for Charlotte.
