LANDIS – Freshman Cressley Patterson hit a three-run, walk-off homer to give South Rowan a 4-3 win against Cannon School on Monday.

South (4-3) scored a run in the first — Patterson got the RBI — but didn’t score again until the seventh.

South’s freshman pitcher Remington Hagerty kept the 1-0 lead until the sixth when Cannon School scored three times.

Hagerty allowed five hits and two walks, while striking out four.

Patterson also homered Friday.

Leisha Carter and Avery Fisher were on base frequently for the Raiders with three walks each. Carter scored twice. Danica Krieg had a double.

Cannon School is 3-2.

South returned to action on Tuesday against Central Cabarrus.
