CHINA GROVE — The Ailshie brothers led East Rowan to a 4-0 South Piedmont Conference victory at Carson.

The Mustangs scored all four runs in the third inning.

Harrison Ailshie, a junior UNC commit, pitched the shutout for the Mustangs (4-2, 3-1), striking out 12 Cougars with no walks.

Freshman Brady Ailshie provided most of East’s offense with two doubles and two RBIs. Harrison also had two hits, including a double.

Maverick Walters pitched into the fifth inning for the Cougars and struck out eight. Dylan Alexander had a strong relief outing.

Cam Williamson, Ryan Snyder and Corbin Hales were credited with hits for Carson (1-4, 1-3).

MOUNT ULLA — West Rowan scored three runs early and beat Robinson 4-2 in South Piedmont Conference play.

Cole Blevins had a dominant complete game on the mound for the Falcons (4-1, 3-1), striking out 11, while allowing three hits and no earned runs.

Blevins, Brant Graham and Carter Durant had doubles. Blevins drove in two runs, while Brice Knox and Brody Pope knocked in one. Knox had two hits.

CONCORD — Marshal Faw pitched four innings of no-hit ball for South Rowan in a 13-0 South Piedmont Conference romp against Northwest Cabarrus.

Faw, a Catawba recruit, struck out four and walked four.

Colton Helms completed the no-hitter in the five inning game.

Conner Coy, Matthew Overcash, Brandon Winkler and Faw had two RBIs each for the Raiders (3-1, 3-1).

Coy and Lucas Cox had two hits. Coy and Drew Pegram had doubles.

ALBEMARLE — Albemarle avenged an earlier loss to North Rowan by pounding the Cavaliers 20-7 in non-conference action.

The Bulldogs had an eight-run first and a 10-run fourth to win in five innings.

North scored seven in the second inning.

Ethan Prange had two hits for the Cavaliers (1-3). Chase Cauble had two RBIs.

Dylan Garrigus and Jaden Brown pitched two innings each.

CONCORD — Cox Mill used a six-run fourth to beat A.L. Brown 7-3 in Greater Metro Conference action.

Jackson Caldwell homered for the Chargers.
