SALISBURY — Partners In Learning recently announced a donation from Hotwire Communications, 36 state-of-the-art Chromebooks. The contribution will directly empower educators at Partners In Learning, ensuring they remain at the forefront of early care and education in North Carolina.
The Chromebooks, coupled with Hotwire’s internet already provided to the organization, will serve as essential tools for professional development. Teachers will leverage these resources to access cutting-edge online training, participate in virtual workshops and expand their knowledge base, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for their young students.
“We are deeply committed to supporting local education and empowering teachers to thrive,” said Mike Hall, senior director of sales for the Carolinas for Hotwire Communications. “Providing these Chromebooks is an investment in their ongoing professional growth, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed and make a lasting impact.”
Partners In Learning Executive Director Norma Honeycutt expressed gratitude, “This extraordinary donation from Hotwire Communications will be transformative. These Chromebooks will enable our teachers to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and technologies, directly benefiting the children we serve. We are incredibly thankful for Hotwire’s continued partnership.”
Partners In Learning Development Director Amy Vestal added, “This donation exemplifies the power of community partnerships in fostering educational excellence for early educators. Hotwire’s generosity extends beyond this recent gift. During the construction of our facility at The Woods, they played a pivotal role in realizing our vision of an inclusive community space. Their provision of free Wi-Fi has become a lifeline for countless individuals and families. We’ve witnessed mothers applying for jobs, families accessing vital resources, local nonprofits hosting trainings, and college students completing assignments – all thanks to Hotwire’s unwavering commitment to our community.”
This latest donation furthers Hotwire Communications’ dedication to empowering Partners In Learning and strengthening the educational landscape in Salisbury.
