Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• An assault on Pond Court, Kannapolis reportedly occurred at 4 p.m. March 5.

• Makenzie Annette Stephens, 29, was charged March 5 with intimidating a witness.

• Dawn Elizabeth Elliot, 40, was charged March 5 with display of an expired registration plate resist/obstruct/delay of an officer and permitting the operation of a motor vehicle without insurance.

• Victor Canann Embry Kyles, 30, was charged March 5 with sex offender failure to notify online identifiers (not informing the appropriate authorities about any new or changed online usernames, email addresses or other identifiers they use on the internet).

Salisbury Police reports

• A larceny from East Innes Street at North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue reportedly occurred between 12:27 and 4 p.m. March 5. Total estimated loss was $90.

• Embezzlement from a business on Statesville Boulevard reportedly occurred between 1:15 p.m. Feb. 9 and 11:03 a.m. March 6. Total estimated loss was $1,630.
