SALISBURY — Sustainable Salisbury will host a “Lunchtime Litter Sweep” on Friday, with anyone interested in helping clean up litter invited to join city staff and volunteers at the intersection of South Arlington Street and Freeland Drive.

The sweep will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, with volunteers asked to meet up in the nearby area of the Walmart parking lot. Volunteers are only asked to dress appropriately by wearing layers and closed-toe shoes. Any other supplies such as gloves, grabbers and trash bags will be provided by the city.
