SALISBURY — As part of ongoing efforts to enhance traffic safety and reduce speeding in the West End, the city of Salisbury is introducing a temporary traffic circle at the intersection of West Horah Street and Partee Street. The pilot project will be installed from Thursday through Friday, March 14, and aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the traffic calming measure in the neighborhood.
The city is encouraging residents and all members of the Salisbury community to drive through the intersection during the pilot period and share their feedback. Citizen input will be utilized in assessing how the traffic circle impacts safety, accessibility and overall traffic flow.
The city is hosting an online survey for citizens to provide their thoughts on the project. The survey will be open until March 31 at 5 p.m. and can be accessed at: https://forms.office.com/g/z83fB4rCwn.
