Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Property damage due to vandalism of new home construction wiring on Umberger Road reportedly occurred between midnight and 8 a.m. March 3.

• Jimmie Wilson Gilleon Jr., 31, was charged March 3 with indecent liberties with children and sex offense parental role.

• Dymond Rochelle Turman, 31, was charged March 3 with possession of up to 1/2 ounce schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia and resist/obstruct/delay of a public official.

• Jessie Payne Purvis, 48, was charged March 3 with possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.

Salisbury Police reports

• Property damage from a hit and run on Old Concord Road reportedly occurred between 12:30 and 2 p.m. March 4.

• A larceny of automobile accessories on Parkview Circle reportedly occurred between 8 p.m. March 3 and 2 p.m. March 4.

• A motor vehicle theft from West Horah Street reportedly occurred between noon and 2 p.m. Feb. 11 and was reported March 4.

• Miranda Sue Keena, 45, was charged March 4 with misdemeanor misuse of the 911 system.
