SALISBURY — Second Presbyterian Church, 732 Lincolnton Road, Salisbury, will be hosting Ashes To Go once again this year.

Pastor James Harley, who serves as pastor of the local congregation, along with Freedom Presbyterian Church in Statesville, will be administering ashes on Wednesday, March 5, at two different locations.

These include the YMCA, 828 Jake Alexander Blvd., Salisbury from 7:30-9 a.m. and then at the church on Lincolnton Road, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Last year was the first time that Second Presbyterian Church has offered Ashes To Go, and in an article telling of last year’s premiere event, Harley said he wanted to make this service available to everyone who wanted to participate.
