Snow returns for a brief stay

SALISBURY — A second wave of snow came through the area Thursday morning and kept falling until approximately 11:30 when just a few flakes continued to be visible and then it ended and was soon gone. However, while the snow was here, it brought about some changes in the area including the local school schedule, which became a remote learning day. Several other community events were postponed during the two days of snowy weather, and the roads were quieter than usual. The snow also changed how things looked in the downtown area and the Bell Tower Green, making it a snowy white. The park was fairly quiet throughout the morning as the snow fell, except for a town worker clearing off some of the stage area and several people venturing out for a walk, making their rounds along with a furry friend or two.
